A den is a small group of 4-8 Cub Scouts who are generally in the same grade or rank. Dens meet between pack meetings to work on adventures, practice skills, play games, complete projects, and build friendships.
Den meeting participation
The den leader and assistant den leader (or another adult) attend all den meetings. At least two adults must be present at all meetings. Tiger den meetings are also attended by each Tiger's adult partner.

How do I register a new Cub Scout?
Complete the BSA online registration first, including the BSA payment. Then submit the separate Pack 153 dues payment.
How do returning Scouts renew?
Follow the instructions in the BSA renewal email and separately pay the annual Pack 153 dues.
Are Pack 153 dues refundable?
The current information supplied by the pack states that the $225 annual pack dues are nonrefundable. Confirm the policy with pack leadership before paying.
Where can I find the meeting schedule?
Check the Pack 153 calendar because dates and locations may change. The typical pack meeting is the second Wednesday of the month from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM.
What should my Cub Scout bring?
Bring the appropriate handbook, required activity materials, a water bottle, and a positive attitude. Leaders will communicate any special supplies before each meeting.
Hello, I am Ishan fro Troop 111. I came and talked at the January 15th meeting. I would like to remind you about the Mission Peak Night Hike that is happening this afternoon at 2:30 pm at the Ohlone entrance. The hike will start at 3:00, and it will end at 8:00. Scouts should bring a bag lunch to eat at the top. It will also be cold, so Scouts should bring a jacket and layers. Also, we are hosting a pancake and uttapam breakfast at the IOOF Lodge across from the Fremont Sunday Farmer's Market on February 1st. Tickets can be purchased from me or can be purchased at the event. Please convey this message onto the rest of the pack.
